“I usually don’t write reviews, however this company was so great, I just have to share!  They called ME to schedule a preventative maintenance.  I had forgotten that I had purchased a service agreement last year.  The tech was so knowledgeable and professional.  He had my unit serviced and cleaned… and it was at no additional cost!  Thank you Green Star! You are awesome!”

“I want to write a very positive review for Green Star HVAC. Our old heat pump quit working on June 12th. I spent the next day looking for a company to replace the unit, and got a phone call from ****** at Green Star. We set up an appointment for Thursday and he gave us a comprehensive explanation of our options and the different units that would serve our needs and budget. The installation crew started about 3 on Friday, and worked until almost 8Pm. They were extremely courteous and professional; we were completely satisfied. We won’t be able to comment on the AC for a couple of years yet, but so far it seems to be a much more comfortable unit then the old AC. (The new unit is a Goodman). I am more than happy to recommend ****** and Green Star.”

Consultation  & Diagnosis

If your system is not operating at its maximum potential, we will quickly and effectively diagnose the problem, and provide you with a low up-front cost for repair.

Service & Repair

Our standard 20 point inspection includes: thermostat calibration, duct system inspection, testing of all electrical components, tightening belts, checking Freon levels, and much more!

It is important to periodically have your duct systems inspected to ensure proper airflow. Leaks in ductwork can decrease your systems energy efficiency, and put undue strain on your unit.  When examining your duct work, we inspect the boots throughout the system, assess all the ventilation runs for correct and balanced airflow, straighten out flexible ducts that may have become tangled or crushed, and make sure all the registers and grills are securely attached to the ducts.

Our air purifying service kills up to 99% of airborne bacteria, viruses, and mold and up to 85% of lingering gases and odors.  Our products are EPA approved and used by the US Government in schools, hospitals, and commercial buildings around the country.

Service Agreements

We also offer a 2 year service agreements which entitles our customers to receive a standard 20 point inspection twice a year at no additional cost!  Our goal is to keep your unit properly maintained, and provide you with worry free system performance year round!

What is SEER?

The SEER rating of a unit can range anywhere from 13 to 25.  The higher the SEER, the more efficient the system will be, and the less it will cost to operate in the long run.

What is HSPF?

Like the SEER, the Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF) measures the efficiency of the heat pump when it is in heating mode. HSPF ratings range from 6.8 to 12.  High efficiency units carry efficiency ratings of 7.5 HSPF and higher.

Can buying ENERGY STAR products really save me money?

Buying ENERGY STAR products saves money on utility bills and protects the environment. ENERGY STAR is a government-backed guarantee that the appliance you buy meets strict efficiency standards. That’s a big plus for households with heating and cooling systems, which are big energy users. ENERGY STAR products include thermostats, heat pumps and air conditioners, among other items. You pay a little more upfront, but can save thousands of dollars in utility bills over the life of the product.
